Weekend

Today I went for a walk at Festge Park.

While I was there, I thought of two things.
1. I really need a new camera, as proved by the photo above. 
2. I really could use a mushroom identification book.

    hey erin ... I'm offering my humble mushroom book identification for you. Thanks to Scott, I have the ability to consult my Falcon Guide book to North American Mushrooms. What you found is a gasteromycetes (puffball) which was most likely edible. I'd highly recommend the book, by the way. Great photos and descriptions. A bit bulky for hiking though.
